TPRC projects do typically concern the relationship of physical properties and composite performance as a function of materials and processing. It is our philosophy to combine sophisticated experimental analyses with multiscale modeling techniques and numerical simulations, resulting in highly innovative and multifaceted project work. During your activities within TPRC you’ll be able to discuss your findings in stimulating meetings with leading experts of our partners. TPRCs network consists of world leading companies in composites processing and applications.

Internship and graduation students

TPRC seeks motivated bachelor and master students Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Engineering, Physics or Chemistry looking for an exciting internship or graduation assignment in the field of composite materials. Affinity with composites modeling and/or experimental work is an advantage.

TPRC offers

Several internship and graduation assignments are available at TPRC ranging from process modeling (e.g. for fiber placement or press forming process) to mechanical characterization ofthermoplastic composites. Typically, the projects are performed within a time frame of four tonine months. TPRC’s industrial partners will be involved during the project. TPRC offers the following to internship and graduation students:

  • Work in a well-equipped state-of-the-art composites laboratory.
  • Research on high-tech thermoplastic composite materials and the newest processing and characterization technologies.
  • Work together with a highly motivated young team of experts.

Practical information

The internship and graduation students receive a trainee remuneration of €250,- per month. Please contact Wouter Grouve ( or 088-8773804) for an up-to-date overview of the available assignments.
